REAL ID implementation and compliance are really, finally, here.

Before you fly, here are questions SGF passengers keep asking. We've got your answers.

Can I fly with the paper copy from the DMV?

• Yes, please bring your previous old driver's license as well.

Do the same rules apply at all airports?

• TSA REAL ID identification requirements are universal at all airports in the United States.

What other documents can I provide?

• A passport, global entry card and Department of Defense ID are acceptable as REAL ID. Social Security cards and birth certificates are not an acceptable document.

What if I don't have the REAL ID at all or can't get one?

• You will be able to fly, but be advised that you could expect delays, so arrive a minimum of two hours prior to departure. Expect additional screening.
