Later this week airport customers should watch out for construction taking place on the west side of the airport terminal. Rental car parking lots are being expanded.
While construction work is expected to have little impact on airport customers, there could be traffic congestion on the west side of the terminal.
Additionally, drivers on State Highway EE should keep an eye out for construction vehicles and heavy equipment — especially at a new construction road entrance located on the west side of the airport (see map).
The construction entrance is on Highway EE, approximately 1 mile north of the airport roundabout, and 1.4 miles east of the intersection of State Highways EE and AB.
Construction is expected to last about three months.
